The Leiden University Excellence Scholarship Program is intended for Non European students looking to pursue a master program at Leiden University.
Recipients of the Leiden University Excellence Scholarship Program will have to show exceptional study results relevant to the program applied for. Successful applicants are Non-EEA passport holders who are not eligible for any support under the Netherlands study grant system (?Studiefinanciering?). Scholarships will only be awarded to first time Leiden University students.
The Leiden University Excellence Scholarship Program has five awards which range from Platinum scholarships, that cover tuition fees and living expenses, to Ivory scholarships, that cover 25% of tuition fees.
Application deadlines are: March for master programs that start in September; October for master programs that start in February. A statement of motivation substantiating the scholarship request is mandatory.
