Program description

This course aims to offer you the latest methods and techniques to be able to work with time series to provide answers to the 'when' questions.

Geospatial data is characterized by it locational, thematic and temporal component. In our GIScience world many methods and techniques to deal with the 'where' and 'what questions exist.

Theory and tools to deal with the temporal component are less developed, despite the fact that virtually all geo-problems definitely have time involved. In addition our data collection and monitoring techniques offer a continuous stream of data with different spatial and temporal resolutions.

It is the objective of this module to offer the latest methods and techniques to be able to work with time series to provide answers to the 'when' questions.
