Program description

The Urban Environmental and Infra course will enhance the theoretical understanding and practical knowledge related to the urban environment and infrastructure. If academic standards have been met, participants will be awarded with credits for the Master course of IHS.

The Urban Environmental and Infra course combines academic depth while maintaining a practical focus. Topics to be discussed during this specialisation are: Environmental Policy and Assessment Instruments; Sustainable Infrastructure Services, Especially Solid Waste, Water, Sanitation and Urban Transport; Municipal Environmental Management; Practical Implementation at the Corporate Level.

Participants will join the specialisation period of the Master Course. This guarantees the academic depth of the study, while maintaining a practical focus. Interesting field visits, discussions with Dutch environmental professionals, skill-oriented assignments and case study analyses are incorporated to enrich this specialisation.
