Program description

With an international group of students you will organize an international student event. Students must drive the entire process from developing the initial concept to implementation and evaluation.

Students gain practical knowledge and hands-on experience on all aspects involved with creating and implementing an international event. The theme of the events relates to internationalization and this year will be dedicated to the Year of the Intercultural Dialogue.

Part of the curriculum includes: International project management Event organization Intercultural communication and competencies Ethics and globalization Development of communication tools Current international affairs

ICM has been organizing events for the past five years. Past event themes include: European Identity, Communication and Democracy and Current International Affairs. You will be studying with Dutch students and foreign (exchange) students from our partner schools in Europe and the rest of the world.

Program Objectives
At the end of the course, students will have gained theoretical and practical knowledge of and experience in all aspects of creating and implementing an international event. Students have learned the theory and mastered the skills they need in order to pursue an international career.

Admission requirements

Previous education

Students should be advanced students majoring in a communication related topic.

IELTS overall band: 6, TOEFL paper based: 550, TOEFL computer based: 213, TOEFL internet based: 80
