Program description

The System and Network Engineering program provides a theoretical insight and practical tools needed for understanding, developing and maintaining complex IT systems and networks. Key questions that are answered in this program include: how to apply different software components within a complex architecture, so that you get an efficiently working system? How to make a system that not only technicians, but everyone can use?

In this program you will look at the many software systems that exist and wonder how to get all these systems connected in a way that's practical, safe and scalable. Students can choose from 2 tracks:>br/>

- Networking

The Forensics track focuses on making students specialists in forensic intelligence. Forensic analysts are responsible for tracing digital evidence on all levels, from a single computer to a large network. You will learn how to provide evidence for activities that were performed and to single out errors that were intentionally. You will learn how to detect certain files that are missing. Graduates of this program will know how to track down cybercrime and how to document their evidence for court cases.

The Networking track focuses on the development of technical skills. This track aims to provide insights in various management aspects, like the internal organization of corporate networks and communication lines. The Networking track focuses on the interaction between technology and organizational aspects.
