The Master in Spanish Language and Culture: Education and Communication teaches you to gather thorough and in-depth knowledge of the Spanish language and culture. You will also learn how you can bring knowledge and insights into the educational practice. You will be trained to teach the teacher and to link theory to practice. This two-year program, is offered by the Faculty of Humanities and the IVLOS (teacher training center). In the first year you take courses on professional teaching and you will focus on acquiring knowledge in the field of the Spanish language and culture. This involves language (education), science, literature and culture. In the second year you will be taking educational courses at the IVLOS. You will attend teacher training courses and learn to develop different learning and teaching methods. There is a strong link between theory and practice, because you run multiple internships at various high schools.
