This unique international graduate programme enables you to study the general structure and principles of public international law and specialise in those areas that interest you most.
The programme covers areas as varied as international peace and security, human rights and international humanitarian law, international environmental law and law of the sea. You will also participate in a moot court. Working together with students from around the world, you will be able to exchange views and ideas, learn about perspectives on law in other cultures, and get a taste of what it is like to work in an international environment.
Classes, lectures and tutorials are led by legal experts who are often involved in professional practice, and who draw on their own cutting-edge research in their teaching. Under their guidance and support, you and your fellow students study various legal dilemmas and, by analysing different theories, developing analytical skills and drawing your own conclusions, you gradually learn to find appropriate answers. At the same time, a combination of compulsory and elective papers, as well as visits to international organisations and participation in a moot court, give you the opportunity to specialise in a specific area of international law while still building up a broad foundation of knowledge.
