The Master in International Communication Management (MICM) is designed to develop communication managers who can research, develop, implement and manage complex communication strategies on a global scale. The programme explores international developments, cultural differences, economics and ethics – as well as personal skills, like leadership, public speaking and conflict management.
Master in International Communication Management Study ProgramIn the Master of International Communication Management, you learn more than just theory. From the very first day, you will put the knowledge that you have acquired into practice. The program explores international trends, cultural differences, ethics and personal skills such as leadership, project management and conflict management. After your course, you will be able to investigate, develop, implement and manage complex communication issues at an international level. The training is available for full-time or part-time study.
The Master of International Communication Management focuses on Corporate Communication, Internal Communication and Marketing Communication. The curriculum also includes modules like Communication Research, Culture & Communication and Communication Trends. In addition, you will be taught specific skills, consisting of several training modules on subjects including time management, writing and the media.
The forms of teaching are varied and diverse: trainings, workshops, case studies and lectures form part of the program. You will finish a module with a (reflection) report or an assignment. For several modules, including the thesis project, you will find yourself a suitable client organization and act as a communication consultant for that client.
