In the Master in History: education and communication you gather thorough and in-depth knowledge of history. You also learn how you can bring knowledge and insights into educational practice. You will be trained to teach the teacher and to link theory to practice. It is also an excellent route (BITEP) to follow, aimed at international or bilingual education. This two-year work program is offered by the Department of History and Art History and the IVLOS. In the first year you professionally and teaching you focus on acquiring knowledge in the field of history. In the second year you take courses at the IVLOS. You will attend a teacher training course and learn about different learning and teaching methods. There is a strong link between theory and practice, because you run multiple internships at various high schools.
