Program description

The design-traineeship in Process and Equipment Design trains and educates MSc's to become a qualified designer, capable of designing 'fit for purpose' and 'first of its kind' products, processes and equipment.

"Process and Equipment Design" is an advanced level traineeship that trains and educates MSc-graduates to become certified designers.

The programme was developed in 1990 by TU Delft in close co-operation with the Research School Process Technology (OSPT) and the Dutch (chemical) industry.

Since then over 130 graduates have successfully completed the programme, and 20-24 PDEng trainees are normally enrolled.

This traineeship is full time and takes two years to complete. After careful selection MSc-graduates are hired as PDEng trainees, becoming employees of the university, and receiving a salary.
