The bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering centres on the devising, creation and control of (components of) machines, installations and equipment. In this context the requirements for productivity, accuracy, yield, effectiveness, safety, use of raw materials and environmental load must particularly be complied with. You try to find technical solutions for all of this. You pay attention to the organisation of the production, construction methods, tests and maintenance. You also conduct theoretic research, for example on the vibration behaviour of constructions, the economic demand, the controllability of technical systems or the processes in equipment. After this training you can enter the labour market or you can opt for a master's degree.
