Program description

The bachelor's degree in Human Geography and Urban and Regional Planning centres on social-spatial issues that are related to spatial actions. Regional Planning is, for example, engaged in town and country planning. You look at, for example, the future organisation of neighbourhoods, districts, cities and areas. As a social geographer you conduct independent research on the spatial use of man. You look for answers to questions like: where does the construction of new residential areas and office buildings take place? What is the driving force behind the globalisation process? How does the relation between town and country develop? After this training you can enter the labour market or you can opt for a master's degree.
