Program description

The bachelor's degree in General Cultural Sciences centres on the world of art and culture. You study the history of the various arts and the way how art and culture function in society. You examine which parties are involved in the accomplishment, distribution and consumption of art and culture and you examine the organisation, the communication and the policy of art and cultural institutions. For this purpose you will frequently exceed the boundaries of other disciplines, like economics, sociology and history. After this training you can enter the labour market or you can opt for a master's degree.
