Program description

The bachelor's degree in Comparative Indo-European Language Science centres on the very extensive Indo-European group of languages. This comprises, for example, Dutch, English, Spanish, Greek, Russian and Sanskrit. You learn to compare and describe the structures of these languages. You also study the historical development of all these different languages from once spoken proto-languages (quest for proto-Indo-European). After this training you can enter the labour market or you can opt for a master's degree.
