According to a recent survey, more than 50% of Bulgarian high school graduates are seriously considering to study abroad for their bachelor degree. At this point more than 25,000 Bulgarian students are studying abroad in pursuit of a tertiary degree. The most popular study destinations are the UK, Germany and the Netherlands. For many Bulgarian students the EU scholarship program provide them with the financial means to study abroad. The Erasmus program is probably the most popular scholarship. However, more and more students are becoming self funded. All the more reason to discover Bulgaria.
