Welcome to the 14th annual International Education Fair in Baku Azerbaijan taking place on 12, 13 and 14 April 2019. This event offers you the chance to meet with thousands of eligible Azerbaijani students. Furthermore it offers a great opportunity to network with many consulting agencies, local and international organizations, and foundations within a cost effective budget.

You will be visiting a number of top class international high schools in Baku on 12 April. Here you will have the opportunity to talk to preselected students who are interested in taking part in college and bachelor programs abroad. On 13 and 14 April thousands of college, bachelor and master students are waiting to discuss international study opportunities with you. 

At this point there are more than 40,000 Azerbaijani students studying overseas. Top destinations for Azerbaijanis include: Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and Georgia. With a growing GDP and a curriculum that is tuned to the international educational market, Azerbaijan will remain a growth market for the years to come. All the more reason to visit this education fair in Baku. For many students, the International Education Fair Baku Azerbaijan is the first stop on their way to studying abroad.

The fair organizer has many years experience organizing recruitment events in Eastern Europe, Asia Minor and adjacent regions. A broad network of media partners and close ties with the finest schools and universities ensure that you will meet well targeted and highly motivated students that are preparing for their studies abroad.

Last year's International Education Fair Baku Azerbaijan was visited by over 6,000 students. There were 80 exhibitors from 14 countries: Australia, Azerbaijan, Canada, Cyprus, France, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, UEA, UK, & USA. Among the participating universities in the International Education Fair in Baku are (research) universities, vocational colleges and language schools.

This year's event consists of High School visits and a student Fair. This is a 3day event. Information about the itinerary can be found below.

Due to the large surge in economic growth from oil and gas exports, the quality of life and income has significantly increased in Azerbaijan. The economy grew in 2012 by 3.8%, according to the World Factbook. This economic spurt has influenced the government to heavily invest in the international education for its students.

Azerbaijan with its young population, over 30% of the country’s total population, is one of the fastest growing student-market in Central Asia. The percentage of students studying abroad grew by 7.6% in 2011. SOFAZ (State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan) has dedicated a portion of its budget to support Azeri students to study abroad for the years 2007-2015. According to Open Doors Statistics, in 2009/10, there is 12.4% increase from 2008/2009 in the number of students choosing to study in the USA. According to 2010 UNESCO report, the leading study abroad destination countries are Russia, Turkey, the UK and the US.
