Why take part in the Middle East Scholarship Forum?
The Middle East has a strong history of students studying overseas. The region has large expat communities and many Gulf countries have considerable state financing programs for international education. This has always been a strong student mobility driver. With the study abroad numbers increasing more and more students are dependent on funding from non-governmental sources. The Middle East Scholarship Forum aims to bring schools and scholarship providers together.
There is a multitude of funds and scholarships programs. Having the right contacts with funding organizations and government departments is critical but finding the right people within them can often be a challenge. The Middle East Scholarship Forum helps you establish a network with the people at funding organizations that are in high demand but extraordinarily difficult to reach.
Middle East Scholarship Forum – Event set up
The Middle East Scholarship Forum allows participants to conduct 21 high-level, private meetings with organizations that send or fund significant numbers of students for overseas study or training each year. Funding organizations come from UAE. Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Kurdistan.
Participants will receive detailed information on all attending scholarship delegates such as:
- Number of scholarships awarded annually;
- Subjects of interest and training requirements;
- Preferred destination countries.
On the basis of these data participants can arrange (in advance) private meetings with the scholarship organizations that best fit their profile and objectives.
In these private sessions, universities and scholarship organizations will discuss topics such as best practices, budget management, selection criteria, geographical variations in scholarship programs, changing requirements, and streamlining processes.
Participants will be treated to an extensive program of luxurious networking functions such as lunches, coffee breaks, a cocktail reception, and a Gala Dinner – all of which provide the perfect atmosphere to foster long lasting partnerships.
