Why take part in the International Schools Forum Indonesia?

The International Schools Forum Indonesia takes place on 1 and 2 November 2023. This is a niche event that begins with an opening cocktail reception followed by private pre-scheduled meetings the next day with 15 high schools of your choice.

You’ll be able to select the specific high school representatives you wish to meet and pre-organise all of your appointments via Marcom, the online scheduling system.

Supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Education, The Indonesian International Schools Forum  is the perfect vehicle for you to meet counsellors from the country’s best International and Private Schools. Don’t miss this unique event which gives you the chance to mingle and meet with influential school contacts who can put your brand in front of aspiring international students and sow the seeds for studying abroad from early on.

Face to face with secondary school partners

Only participants from the best private, bilingual and international schools in Indonesia are invited, so you can be sure to meet prospective partners who can send you top quality students. All participating high schools have been selected due to the high numbers of students who study overseas after they graduate.

Indonesian High School Counsellors are highly engaged and value their participation in this event for three reasons:

  • Counsellors have a focused way to meet with a large number of international Universities
  • They receive free accredited CPD training from fellow counsellors and industry experts
  • Are provided with free accommodation at the official and are hosted across an array of networking events

Participating private high schools will come from a range of profiles such as:

  • International schools teaching American or  British curriculum.
  • Secondary schools preparing students for GCSEs or A levels.
  • K-12 schools following the International Baccalaureate (IB) program
  • Private elite Indonesian schools

Student recruitment in Indonesia

According to UIS data, the number of Indonesian degree-seeking students enrolled overseas has grown by nearly 62 percent since 1998, reaching a high of 55,000 in 2022.
