We expect 50 international institutions to take part. These events aims to prepare a wide range of students, from high school level to professionals to talk to academics and representatives. Besides meeting face to face with potential students, you will also be able to discuss recruitment opportunities with local education agents. They will be happy to share insights with you.

Student recruitment in India

India has been one of the biggest success stories in study abroad mobility over the past decade. Second to China only, India sends more than 460,000 students abroad each year. In terms of year on year growth it outpaces China.  A surging economy and domestic competition drives study abroad numbers, despite the pandemic. We have seen a 25% increase since 2018. Master mobility is growing fast. Also, post-study work is an attractive factor. Indian students tend to prolong their stay in order to work in a destination country.

There is a growing acceptance among Indian students for blended delivery models – that is, for programs that begin online and then transition to face-to-face study.
