Why take part in the International Education Fairs in Budapest and Bratislava?
The International Education Fair Budapest Hungary is being organized for the fifith time. This year we have expanded it to include the capital of Slovakia, Bratislava. These events are aimed at the recruitment of college, bachelor, language course, master, MBA and post graduate students.
These edu fair in 2 countries give prospective students the opportunity to get in touch directly with domestic and foreign universities. Visitors register online prior to the fair given the option to make appointments with specific universities as well as to sign up for presentations.
Presentations held by exhibitors and experts from the field of higher education give visitors the chance to inform themselves about topics like programs, studying abroad, university rankings, etc. The exhibitions are accompanied by a exhibition program in which academic and expert presentations are delivered on a range of topics.

Student recruitment in Budapest – Hungary
With the country population of over 9.75 mln people Budapest with almost 1.8 mln. inhabitants is the largest city in Hungary and the 10th most populated city in the EU.
The interest in education abroad among Hungarian students is increasing from year to year. At this point a total number of 13,038 students are studying outside Hungary (not counting Erasmus mobility programs students). According to our research there is an increasing interest in all types of educational institutions: universities, independent schools, international colleges as well as in English language courses and summer camps.
Student recruitment in Slovakia
Compared to Hungary, Slovakia is a much smaller study abroad market. But is has all the signs of a growth market. Slovakia has 5,5 million inhabitants. Bratislava is the capital and has little over 500,000 inhabitant. It has a relatively young population. Currently some 31,000 students are studying abroad and this number increasing sharply. The most popular study abroad countries are: Czech republic, UK, Hungary and Denmark.
The are various scholarships available to Hungarian and Slovakian students who wish to study abroad. The Erasmus+ scholarship program is just one example.
