Student Recruitment in Chile – The Becas/CONICYT scholarship

The Chilean government is actively supporting graduate studies abroad through the Becas Chile scholarship program. This covers, airfare, tuition, English language courses, health insurance and living expenses. Since the inception. the program has awarded over 8,000 scholarships. All scholarship recipients are required to return to Chile after their studies abroad. At this point more than 18,000 Chilean students are studying abroad. Argentina, the US and Spain are the most popular overseas study destinations.
