Stenden University in Groningen is a school for professional education offering fully accredited, degree programs in Educational Sciences. Study programs at Stenden Groningen are mostly taught in Dutch. Stenden University has a truly international character with a number of campuses around the world. Programs are also offered at its campus in Emmen and Assen and Leeuwarden

Currently, over 10.000 students are studying at Stenden University. Because of its international curriculum, Stenden attracts a lot of foreign students each year. The international aspirations of this University stretch beyond the Netherlands. Stenden University has campus sites in Doha (Qatar), Bangkok (Thailand) and Port Alfred (South Africa).
