Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen (Hanze UAS) is located in the vibrant student city of Groningen in the north of the Netherlands. Hanze UAS has an international perspective and offers students from all over the world the chance to prepare themselves for a career in a modern, globalized society.

Hanze UAS offers a variety of degree and non –degree programs both at undergraduate and graduate level in different fields of study. They offer several study programs in English varying from Business, to Music, Fine Arts, Physiotherapy, Communication, Facility Management, Sensor technology, etc. These courses attract students from all over the world.

The university is internationally oriented in the sense that it works closely together with partner institutes and organizations from all over the world. In addition, the university is home to over eighty different nationalities.

For all degree programs at Hanze UAS a balance is sought between theoretical and practical knowledge, in order to prepare students for today's global economy. Much of the education is business-driven, with practical orientations available to help develop professionals who can combine theoretical knowledge with a good understanding of their chosen profession. Students gain work experience during their studies.
