University description

Gerrit Rietveld Academie, named after the world famous designer from the Netherlands, is a university of applied sciences for Fine Arts and Design. The school is located in Amsterdam and offers international bachelor and master degree programs in Visual Arts and Design. The Gerrit Rietveld Academie aims to educate talented students on their way to becoming Visuals Art and Design professionals.

Gerrit Rietveld Academie provides education to around 1000 students of which 40% are international students. The student body consists of 50 nationalities. Study programs include: two Bachelor degrees (in Fine arts and Design) and three Master degrees (in Fine Arts, Applied Arts and Design). Master programs are offered by the Sandberg Institute.
