Program description

The teacher-training programme is a preparation for a career in high school education. The programme is taught in Dutch, and is open only to those who have a fluent command of the Dutch language.

The master's degree in Teaching Chemistry is a continuation and extension of a bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline. The training centres on counselling students during an independent learning process and on organising, evaluating and adjusting that process together with the student. You also learn to in association with colleagues give shape and content to course exceeding components. You also examine and develop education (educational innovations). The didactic preparation is linked to a substantive and scientific extension of the chemistry course.
