Program description

The teacher-training programme is a preparation for a career in high school education. The programme is taught in Dutch, and is open only to those who have a fluent command of the Dutch language.

The master's degree in Teaching Social Science is a continuation and extension of a bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline. You learn to counsel students during an independent learning process and to organise, evaluate and adjust that process together with the student. You also learn to in association with colleagues give shape and content to course exceeding components. You also examine and develop education (educational innovations). The didactic preparation is linked to a substantive and scientific extension of the social science course.
