Program description

Aim of the MBA Program is the development of 'globally-minded business leaders': people who easily combine business knowledge, analytical capacities and management skills.

Introduction to International MBA
Our MBA Program is different in that it includes the accepted fundamentals of business education like financial management and business strategy, which we refer to as 'the science of business', while also offering what we call 'art of business' topics like business skills and cross cultural management. Our students and faculty are coming from around the globe. Many of our full-time students are from developing countries and emerging, transition economies, while many of the part-time students are coming from multi-national companies, Dutch and foreign. Our International MBA program has the power to transform your future and therefore the future of your organization and your society.

The world is facing a difficult task: the peaceful globalization of societies and economies. In the modern business environment change has become a constant, and is now the norm. Although companies have always had to deal with the dynamics of markets and technologies, in recent years the speed of change has increased tremendously. Innovation and learning are essential for identifying and exploiting new business opportunities. Strategic decisions on investments in new technologies must be taken rapidly, so a clear insight in the market potential of new innovations is essential. Therefore, companies have a stronger need than ever for highly qualified managers with a multidisciplinary background, who can guide and steer the company in a rapidly changing world market.

Objectives
Fundamental core subjects (Strategy, Finance, Marketing, Operations, etc.) are linked with the skills essential to any effective manager. There is special attention for teamwork, communication, motivation and leadership skills.

Target Audience
The International MBA Program is aimed at (young) professionals who are willing and eager to invest in their human capital, an investment that they will carry with them through their professional career, and not only to their next job.
