Program description

The Master is a specialised programme focused on cross-border problems in direct and indirect taxation, governing the areas of European and international taxation.

This Advanced LLM programme for students who have an LLM degree or a Master's degree in economics or business administration. It is a specialised programme focused on cross-border problems in direct and indirect taxation. It provides an understanding of the structure of different systems of income and consumption taxes and of the basic rules governing the areas of European and international taxation. It also focuses on specific problems such as transfer pricing, financial instruments, hubrid entities, and cross-border mergers and aquisitions (special subject courses). The programme offered by the European Tax College, is a programme by means of a joint venture of Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium) and Tilburg University.
