Start at the top and go higher. Get the best of the three top Dutch universities in one programme: a researchmaster in economics, and finance. Get the latest in economic theory and empirical economics. It is the graduate school and research institute of the economics departments at EUR, the University of Amsterdam, and the VU University Amsterdam. Fully 70% of the students come from abroad. The quality of its faculty is second to none. Take in lectures by internationally renowned experts. Take advantage of the small scale of the institute, of the buzz in the hallways. Objectives
The Tinbergen Institute MSc programme is an intensive 2-year course programme, connected to 3-year PhD positions at the departments. The programme aims to give students a thorough knowledge of economic theory, empirical economics and econometric methods or financial theory and emperical findings allowing them to participate in and contribute to scientific discussion at the very highest level.

Admission requirements

Previous education

At least Bachelor's degree, preferably in economics, econometrics, mathematics or physics.

Grade average

Recent GRE scores in the top 10% of test takers (quantitative part). Letter of intent showing motivation to pursue a PhD. 2 recommendation letters.

Language requirements

IELTS overall band: 7, TOEFL paper based: 650, TOEFL computer based: 250, TOEFL internet based: 100
