Program description

The Advanced Nursing Practice training centres on the interface of nursing sciences (care) and medicine (cure). The nurse practitioner is a nurse who can perform specific medical actions. You learn to manage a care team, develop cooperations and prepare multidisciplinary care programmes

You also improve the quality of the patient care and reach diagnostic and therapeutic decisions. You have a directing, coordinating and steering role in the care process of the patients. The nurse practitioner works at the hospital, in domestic care, care for the handicapped, nursing home care, mental health care or in first line care. After this training you can enter the labour market.

Professional experience

Verpleegkundigen (ingeschreven in het register Verpleegkundigen niveau 5), met minimaal 4 jaar relevante en actuele ervaring en een werkleerovereenkomst van minimaal 32 uur. HBO-V (of via assessment aan te tonen vergelijkbaar niveau), minimaal 4 jaar werkervaring in de gezondheidszorg en voldoende kennis van het Nederlands en Engels om vakliteratuur te kunnen lezen.
