Program description

The bachelor's degree in Social Work and Social Sciences centres on the counselling of people with psychosocial and material problems. You learn to work methodically with clients and people form their national environment (partners and family members). It is about getting these people support so that they can start functioning again within their family, at school or at their work. You moreover give individual advice and information about rules, laws and facilities, you signal situations of social abuse, stand up for specific individuals or groups who are in distress, you carry out examinations and report about this. You set to work in, for example, general social work, youth services or social rehabilitation. After this training you can enter the labour market or you can opt for a master's degree.
