As a tourism manager you sell the world. You put tours together, purchase competitively and establish worldwide contacts.
Create holidays as a job! As a manager in tourism, you are selling the world. You put holiday packages together, purchase at attractive rates and establish worldwide contacts. ITM is your ‘boarding pass’ to the future.
You are a born traveller and enjoy discovering new countries and different cultures. You have commercial and managerial abilities. After having completed the ITM course, you will be able to put together holiday packages and sell them. You will focus on international destinations and create tourism possibilities. You will make good deals and always be one step ahead of the competition. Your tasks will include organizing study trips, as well as purchasing airline seats, hotel beds and excursions. As an expert in tourism, you will also turn your own company into a success.
Tio has been well-known in the travel industry for more than 40 years. Tourism is the largest worldwide industry. An increasing number of people have more leisure time and are prepared to spend more money on faraway and special holidays. There are also continuing developments in the area of products. Internet applications, such as social media and mobile Internet, gain importance and provide new trends. In order to keep up with these trends, the industry is continually searching for well educated people.
The bachelor course International Tourism Management educates students in four or three years for the professional competence profile of Tourism and Recreation Manager. This Bachelor degree course has been accredited by the NVAO. With the ITM degree, you will be allowed to use the internationally recognized title of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).
