Program description

International Tourism Management at Stenden University is your fast lane to a top level career in Tourism.

International Tourism is one of the fastest growing industries worldwide. The World Tourism Organization expects to see a hundred percent increase in arrivals and turnover within the next 2 decades. As a result, the demand for tourism professionals will grow accordingly.

The International Tourism Management program focuses on sustainable tourism development. Tourism can make a useful contribution to the (economic) development of a region or country. But sustainable tourism should be the starting point of this development.

The International Tourism Management program prepares students for management, policy-making and consultancy positions in the international tourism industry. The program focuses on tourism at the strategic management level. The programs has a distinctive hands-on approach. Students will be doing a lot of projects and case studies.
