Program description

The bachelor's degree in International Development Studies centres on social change processes in Europe and developing countries. During the training various themes are discussed, like issues concerning income and work, the relation between rich and poor, population growth and the effects of migration. Moreover, management and use of natural resources, the environment, globalisation and local development play an important role in the training. You work on topical issues, like improvement of living conditions and nature preservation in Africa, the influence of the accession of Eastern European countries to the EU and reconstruction after natural disasters and conflicts.
