Program description

The bachelor's degree in Health Care Management centres on the training of professionals in health care or the supply of social services for management positions at a care institute, e.g. a (university) hospital, a nursing home or home care. You make sure that clients receive optimal care.

 You also learn to manage a project or department and contribute to the strategic policy of the institute. For example, the training anticipates the current developments in care, like market-oriented working and the individualisation of the client. After this training you can enter the labour market or you can opt for a master's degree.

Professional experience

Diploma van een relevante mbo- (niveau 4) of hbo-opleiding of inservice-opleiding van vergelijkbaar niveau (zoals verpleegkundige A, B of Z, radiodiagnostisch laborant). Een werkkring of stageplek van minimaal 50% in de zorg, welzijnssector of een verwant terrein, waarin u leidinggevende taken kunt verrichten ten behoeve van een (project)team. Dit team dient minimaal uit 6 leden te bestaan (inclusief uzelf). Tenminste 2 jaar werkervaring.
