Program description
The bachelor program in Economics and Business Economics focuses on the ways how people try to satisfy their needs the best they can via the - whether or not scarcely - available means
Factually it is about the relations between people in an economic context. In the monetary economy everything basically revolves around the question what the meaning of the use of money to the economy is. micro-economics focuses on the behaviour of (individual) consumers and manufacturers and on (individual) markets and prices. Macro-economics studies economic quantities, like the national income, the total consumption and the total investments, on a national scale. Meso-economics focuses on the explanation of phenomena at branch level, regional level and sector level. Companies occupy such an important place in the whole of the economic activities that this has lead to a separate specialisation in economics: business economics. After this training you can enter the labour market or you can opt for a master's degree.
