Program description
The bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene centres on preventive dental care, i.e. keeping the teeth and the teeth surrounding tissue healthy and curing, where necessary. your work is very diverse: treatment of individual patients, information for groups and even working on research.
You learn to collect diagnostic data by examining the teeth and the surrounding tissue. To this end you take X-rays. You prepare and implement treatment plans, for example for the removal of plaque and tartar, the polishing of teeth and drilling and filling small caries. You set to work, for example, as an independent oral hygienist or as an oral hygienist at a hospital, at a general dental practice or at the Municipal Health Service. After this training you can enter the labour market or you can opt for a master's degree.
