Program description
The bachelor's degree in Chemistry centres on research of the composition, application and possibilities for improvement of all sorts of raw materials and products. You learn to use chemical knowledge to look at, for example, the quality of synthetics, foodstuffs and medicines with modern analysis equipment.
You also develop new techniques and products, for example biologically degradable polymers. You work on the synthesis of new compounds for application in medicines or you check and improve production processes and methods. Research of the consequences of all these chemicals on man and the environment also represents an important part of the training. After this training you can enter the labour market or you can opt for a master's degree.
