PhD Admission
The main requirement for admission to any PhD program is having the right master diploma. International students must have a master diploma that is considered equivalent to a master diploma from the Netherlands. Most institutions will have additional admission requirements such as a minimum score on a mandatory English language test.
Master Diploma Equivalence table
The Following diplomas are roughly equivalent to master diplomas awarded by research universities in the Netherlands. A master diploma in a relevant field generally gives access to most PhD programs. Please note that universities will have additional admission requirements on top of the diploma requirements. Most institutions will require a research proposal.
