More scholarships for Brazilian students (19-3-2012)
The Brazilian Government is spending 2 billion US Dollars on 75,000 scholarships and grant for Brazilian students to study at top universities worldwide. Numerous scholarships are available to Brazilian student who want to study in the Netherlands.
Science without borders scholarship program
The Dutch Organization for Higher Education Cooperation (NUFFIC) is working closely with the Brazilian Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) in order to facilitate Brazilian students who would like to study in the Netherlands. On 16 March 2012 this resulted in the Science without borders scholarship program. Under this program Brazilian students get a scholarship to participate in a study program in the Netherlands.
Initially, scholarships will be awarded to students who are pursuing a degree in the field of Engineering and Technology, Health Sciences and Natural Sciences. During the first years of the Science without borders scholarship program, the focus will be on Brazilian Bachelor students. IN subsequent years the program will be expanded to include master and PhD students.
