Hotelschool The Hague receives top marks (2-4-2012)

The Hotelschool, with two campuses, one in The Hague and one in Amsterdam, received an excellent score for no fewer than 11 of the 16 criteria. Such a high score is most exceptional according to the commission.

In the Dutch educational system, each program has to go through an initial accreditation process. This process has to be repeated every couple of years so as to keep a check on the quality of study programs.

The Business Administration in Hotel Management program was visited by an international audit panel last September. Various interviews were conducted with lecturers, students and representatives from some major hotel chains. Study materials and exam assignments were also scrutinized by the panel.

The conclusion of the audit was that the “Hotelschool The Hague has an excellent educational program, excellent lecturers and a very well-equipped learning and working environment through which its students are trained to become ‘all-round’ hospitality professionals who are very highly valued by the hospitality industry and related sectors.
