International University Conference and Education Fair Description
The aim of the 2nd annual International University Conference and Education Fair is to broaden relations between international universities and universities of Russia, Ukraine, Belorussia, Kazakhstan and other CIS countries and to to create a long-term mutual collaboration. Participating institutions will get to opportunity to meet with a wide range of top Eastern European institutions and to engage in new partnerships. On top of that, they will get opportunity to speak to carefully selected Russian students and recruit them to their international study programs.
Various modes of collaboration are addressed at the conference:
Academic exchange of students. This type of cooperation is widespread overseas and has proved to boost promotion of universities and development of relations between them. Indeed, positive feedback from students is the best advertising strategy.
Tutors exchange. This is another idea of strengthening ties between Russian, Ukrainian, Belorussian and Kazakh universities and their foreign partners. Inviting a tutor to teach a specific course ( either fully or partly sponsored) is a very advantageous experience for both students and tutors. Furthermore it exemplifies the professional level of professors and teaching staff of the universities.
Creating joint educational programs. The implication of joint educational courses is mainly arrangement of interactive courses which have been successfully implemented at a particular university abroad. The exchange of such programs and additional materials not only has a great impact on students but also allows universities to enter other educational markets and broadens their links with the partners.
Exchange of educational products. These are some courses that are accredited by the cooperating universities which can be of great help for students and for the universities at the educational market..
Joint grant applications. Cooperating universities from different countries will be a much more preferable choice for the organizations that offer grants. Another topic of discussion will be educational products legalized by universities.
